This Amazing Crochet Pattern is Just 2 Rows‼️How to Make a Blouse and Shawl for Beginners

 This stitch is a very easy, airy lace pattern made from only 2 repeating rows.

Perfect for shawls, blouses, scarves, table runners, cardigans, etc.

🧶 Materials

  • Fine cotton yarn / lace yarn / soft acrylic

  • Hook size recommended with your yarn (2.5–3.5 mm works beautifully)

  • Scissors

  • Tapestry needle

✅ Pattern Multiple

The pattern is worked in multiples of 6 + 3.

For example:

ch 33 (30 + 3)

✨ STEP-BY-STEP PATTERN

Foundation Row

  1. ch a multiple of 6 + 3

  2. dc in the 4th chain from hook

  3. ch 1, skip 1 chain, dc in next chain

Repeat Step 3 to the end.
Turn.

This creates a mesh base.


Row 1 (Fan Row)

  1. ch 3 (counts as dc)

  2. dc in next dc

  3. Into next ch-1 space: work 5 dc (this forms a fan)

  4. dc in each of the next 2 dc stitches

Repeat:

5 dc in next space, dc in next 2 dc...

Turn.


Row 2 (Chain Arches Row)

  1. ch 5 (counts as dc + ch2)

  2. dc into the 3rd dc of the fan (the center stitch of the 5-dc group)

  3. ch 3

  4. dc in the center dc of the next fan

  5. ch 2

  6. dc in each of the next 2 dc

Repeat across:

dc in center of fan, ch3, dc in center of next fan...

End with:

ch2, dc in last dc.

Turn.
