🌿 STEP-BY-STEP PATTERN

Foundation Row

  1. dc into 5th chain from hook

  2. ch 1, skip 1 chain, dc in next chain

  3. Repeat Step 2 to the end

Turn.

This creates a mesh base structure.


Row 1 — Start Flower Petals

  1. ch 3 (counts as dc)

  2. dc in next dc

  3. Into next ch-1 space: 5 dc (shell)

  4. dc in next 2 dc

Repeat across:

5 dc shell → dc in next 25 dc shell → dc in next 2...

Turn.


Row 2 — Form Open Flower Centers

  1. ch 4 (counts as dc + ch1)

  2. sc into center dc of shell (3rd dc)

  3. ch 4

  4. dc in each of the next 2 dc

Repeat:

ch4 → sc in center of shell → ch4 → dc in next 2 dc

Turn.

This row creates arched spaces over the petals.


Row 3 — Second Flower Layer

  1. ch 3 (counts as dc)

  2. dc in next dc

  3. Into ch-4 arch: 5 dc

  4. dc in next 2 dc

Repeat:

5 dc in arch → dc in next 2 → 5 dc in next arch

Turn.

This forms the next row of flowers stacked beautifully.
